Sometimes, I’ve escaped at night, in my head, and sailed away. In this dream, I was navigating up the Stour towards Sandwich and into the shallow water. I was worried about the tide. I woke up in a sweat in the middle of the night and wrote the dream down. Later, I did my best to paint it.
