I dreamed of a large, still lake with a willow's shadows kissing the water. I dreamed of infinite reflections of the trees and the sky. I could see beneath the water too, watching the water waterboatmen scud around on the surface.

This painting is mixed acrylic media and liquid gold leaf on canvas. It stands up on its own so you could pop it on a shelf or bookcase, or alternatively hang it somewhere for a little pop of colour.

15cm x 15cm x 4cm, cotton canvas on a wooden stretcher. Varnished and finished with cold wax.
